Camp Griffin
Roycemore's Traditional Summer Day Camp is Back!
Roycemore School is excited to announce that Camp Griffin is making a return in Summer 2026! Griffins are ready to trade in books for bathing suits and tech for crafts at this old-school camp, coupled with research-informed classroom management and innovative experiences for campers.
Each week will feature themed activities, giving campers a summer experience to remember and to rejoice in the freedom of a childhood summer. Campers will experience Roycemore’s dedication to innovation through projects in our Innovation Center and enjoy access to our one-of-a-kind lakefront and small-town setting within a big city. Weekly, age-appropriate field trips will add to the adventure with plenty of play, sun, and fun.
Camp Griffin is divided by age groups to ensure the most positive experiences for each camper, while offering opportunities for crossover experiences and exploration.
- Little Griffins are entering Pre-K and Kindergarten and are our small but mighty force of wonder. (15 spaces)
- Golden Griffins are those campers who will enter 1st through 4th grades and are ready for bigger adventures. (25 spaces)
- Grand Griffins are our campers entering 5th through 8th grade in the fall, and will have opportunities to both explore the city and mentor younger campers. (25 spaces)
Dates: Camp Griffin will kick off on June 15, 2026 and run Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (except June 19) until August 7, 2026.
Cost: $650 per week (Discount week of June 15).
Counselors in Training Camp
In between Teen? Counselors in Training spots are available for Camp Griffin this year. Your 13-15-year-old can attend and develop the skills needed to care for children, foster creative and critical thinking, and enhance communication and collaboration in social and professional settings. Our CIT program helps your camper explore new areas of development in a safe environment, all while learning vital skills needed to be a Roycemore Leader! ($250 per week, 6 slots available)
