Teachers First Fund

Roycemore's greatest strength has always been its teachers — the dedicated educators who show up every day to guide, mentor, and inspire our students.

Due to an unexpected budget shortfall, we must urgently raise funds to fulfill the remaining salary commitments in our teachers' contracts for the 2025-2026 school year.

Please give generously and ensure our teachers receive the salaries they deserve.

"Watching two of our kids grow within this community has been incredibly meaningful. At Roycemore, they didn’t just receive a strong education; they built confidence in who they are, learned to use their voices, and felt seen and supported every step of the way. The friendships they formed are deep and lasting, rooted in a culture that values kindness, individuality, and connection. Just as impactful have been the relationships with their teachers - educators who go far beyond the classroom, who know each child personally, and who are deeply invested in their growth, both academically and emotionally. Supporting Roycemore is our way of helping ensure that other families can experience the same sense of belonging, support, and opportunity that has meant so much to ours."

Jennifer and Jonathan Koplow, Middle School Parents

"When I first walked into the halls of the lower school in 2018, I felt the cheer coming from the children's artwork hanging on the walls. I felt the warmth coming from the phrases on the wall. I knew immediately this was the place for my children. A fellow parent recently said this to me about Roycemore: "In what school would a third grader understand the habit, "Seek first to understand, then to be understood"? Our community could use this as a gentle reminder these days. My contribution today is coming from the fund I have for a down payment of my future home. It is to help our beloved school remain open, to have our incredible faculty and staff paid, and for all our children to have a school to keep returning to. While the right home for me has not come along yet, the right school has. I believe in what we have here. I believe Roycemore is too loved to fall. I hope other members of our community will join me in giving freely."

"Roycemore has meant so much to our family. Before joining this wonderful community, we searched for schools that aligned with our values, as our six-year-old had unfortunately experienced bullying on several occasions. This made us especially mindful in seeking an environment and culture that truly respects and welcomes everyone. We immediately saw that respect, empathy, and kindness are at the heart of Roycemore’s values. After visiting, my children were genuinely excited, and after meeting the staff and learning about the curriculum, it was clear to us that Roycemore would be our children’s second home. At first, our concern was transitioning the kids into a new school. However, they have repeatedly asked—even on weekends—if they could go to school, which speaks volumes about how much they love it at Roycemore. Additionally, our daughter is excelling in math, and Roycemore has gone above and beyond in nurturing her skills—she has truly thrived in all her subjects in such a short time. What has made the greatest impact is the incredible parent involvement and the unwavering support from all the faculty. Throughout this journey, our family has never felt alone; we have received such genuine kindness and encouragement, both in and out of school. As parents, we are deeply grateful for the opportunities Roycemore provides—giving our children the tools, confidence, and resilience to thrive."
