2026 Senior College Decisions

Jacob Black

Jacob will be continuing his education in the fall at Stanford University. The classes he took at Roycemore inspired Jacob to pursue a degree in Economics and Slavic Regions. Jacob’s favorite class he took during his time at Roycemore was Psychology. Jacob was involved in a variety of clubs/extracurricular activitities including Chess Club, Jewish Community Club, National Honors Society, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. He would like to thank his teachers and classmates for making his experience so memorable.

Willow Chambers

Willow will be attending Macalester College in the fall to study Computer Science. Her love of computers and hope to use them to aid scientific discovery inspired Willow to choose this major. Willow’s involvement at Roycemore included Yearbook Club and acting in the most recent spring play, The Man Who Was Thursday. Willow would like to thank Ms. Rozes and Ms. McGuire for all they have done for her.

Sophie Duffield

Sophie will be continuing her education at the University of Miami, opting to pursue a degree in Criminology. Her interest in Criminology is grounded in a desire to understand people. Outside of the classroom, her experiences working with both children and rescue animals have shaped her in meaningful ways. Sophie would like to thank her teachers and those who have supporter her in her time at Roycemore.

Fran Elinson

Fran will be pursuing a degree in Psychology at Syracuse University this fall. A curiousity about other perspectives, paired with a desire to make people feel heard has influenced this decision greatly. Fran has been invovlved in Diversity Club, Recycling Club, and has spent many hours in the art room during her time at Roycemore. Fran would like to thank Ms. Helm, Mr. Sanchez, Mr. Zall, Ms. Hecht, and Mr. Dudek for all they have done for her.

Finley Fleming

Finley will be studying Fine Arts at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago this fall. She has been an artist for as long as she can remember and hopes to work in the museum field in the future. Finley has been involved in Student Government, Student Ambassador Club, Theatre, DECA, and Rotary while at Roycemore. She would like to thank Roycemore’s teachers, who Finley believes are the school’s greatest resource!

Aidan Goldstein

Aidan will be attending the School of Engineering at Vanderbilt through their NROTC program. He became interested in mechanical engineering because of his strong curiousity about how different systems integrate and work together. Aidan has been involved in the following clubs: Bio Chem, Jewish Community, Diversity, Rotary International, Chinese, French, Student Gov, and Student Ambassador Club. He would like to thank Dr. Dudek, Ms. Quire, and Dr. Leavitt.

Adriel Gomez

Adriel will be attending the University of Illinois Chicago to pursue a degree is Business Management. His involvement is DECA at Roycemore helped Adriel develop and strive to continue in his desired path of study. His favorite Roycemore memory was the DECA test/roleplay, even though it was a nerve wracking experience. Adriel would like to thank Ms. Eliese and Ms. Deinzer.

Jackie Gorski

Jackie is pursuing a degree in Marine Biology at Cal State Monterey Bay. A trip to the Shedd Aquarium sparked her interest in marine biology. Jackie has been involved in NHS, Scholastic Bowl, Service Club, and Soccer while at Roycemore. Going to Belize this past spring break was her favorite Roycemore memory. Jackie would like to thank Ms. McGuire and Ms. Henry for making her time at Roycemore special.

Lola Grapey

Lola will be studying Sports Management and Marketing at Indiana University this fall. Lola has managed boys’ basketball and volleyball for four years, which has greatly influenced her decision in major. Lola has also been involved in PEP Club, Diversity Club, Mental Health Club, Rotary Club, Student Ambassador Club, and Student Government. She would like to thank Ms. Bynes, Ms. Hilda, Mrs. Quire, Ms. Erin, Ms. Annette, and Mr. Ziggy for all they do for her and Roycemore.

Nathan Kaiser

Nathan will be attending the University of Kansas this fall and studying Chemistry. Nathan has been involved in Esports at Roycemore and will miss leaving early on Thursdays. His favorite class has been Chemistry with Ms. Henry, which has inspired him to pursue this degree. He would like to thank Ms. Henry for all she does for her students.

Alex Mueller

Alex is continuing his education at Beloit College, studying Biomedical Engineering and/or Neuroscience. A fascination of how the human body functions and a desire to improve it has led to this decision. Alex has been involved in Esports, Tabletop Games, Robotics, and in his words, “anything nerdy really”. He would like to that Mr. Conlin, Mr. Duncan, and Ms. Byrnes for all they have done for him while at Roycemore.

Gael Palacios

Gael will be continuing his education at DePaul University pursuing a degree in Accounting and a minor in Marketing. During his time at Roycemore, Gael was involved in Dance Club, Diversity Club, Student Ambassador Club, ROTC, Yearbook, Mental Health Club, multiple theatre productions, and Student Government. Gael would like to thank Ms. McGuire, Ms. Hilda, Mrs. Quire, Ms. Bostrom, and Mr. Sanchez for making his time at Roycemore special.

Sam Rosen

Sam will be studying finance at Ohio Wesleyan University in the fall. His decision to study finance was greatly influenced by his father’s career. Sam’s favorite Roycemore memory was getting to work on his January Short Term projects. He was also involved with Jewish Club during his time at Roycemore. Sam would like to thank Ms. Kilner for all that she does for her students.

Nevin Saini

Nevin will be continuing his education at DePaul University, pursuing a degree in Intelligent Systems Engineering. Technology’s evolution into AI made Nevin interested in this field of study. One thing Nevin will miss about Roycemore is being involved in DECA and Robotics. Nevin would like to thank all the teachers and students that made his high school experience more enjoyable.

Alister Strand

Alister will be studying Computer Science at Bradley University in the fall after years of learning about and using computers. AP Computer Science was particularly impactful in this decision. Alister has been involved in DECA, Yearbook, Chess Club, and Rotary at Roycemore. Alister would like to thank Dr. Dudek, Mr. Sanchez, Ms. Deinzer, and Ms. Negronida for their impact on his school experience.

Conall Stutesman

Conall will be continuing his education at James Madison University to study Sports Management, merging his enjoyment of teaching and his love for sports. Conall has been a captain of the basketball, track, and cross-country teams, in addition to being a part of the volleyball and soccer teams. His favorite Roycemore memory was getting sushi with the basketball team. Conall would like to thank Ms. Deinzer, Dr. Leavitt, and Mr. Sanchez.

Pema Yankey

Pema will be continuing her education at Marquette University in the fall, pursuing a degree in Psychology. She first became interested in Psychology when taking AP Psych with Dr. Franck. Pema has been involved in Student Ambassador Club, DECA, Student Government, Volleyball, Rotary Interact Club, Diversity Club, Yearbook, EDP after school, and was a 2026 Play Stage Manager at Roycemore. She would like to thank her friends, Mrs. Quire, Dr. Franck, and her parents!
