Plan to be part of Roycemore's future!

You can plan for the future of Roycemore now, by naming Roycemore School as a beneficiary in your will. While we welcome unrestricted contributions, gifts may be earmarked for the endowment, which will continue to provide support for the School in perpetuity, or you may designate a specific area, such as scholarships.

As you reach retirement age, you may wish to find ways to help Roycemore that also provide tax benefits and maintain your investment income. A gift annuity or charitable remainder trust may be an attractive way to ensure the future of Roycemore while keeping your income stream intact. Such gifts may be designated for endowment or current school needs.

Gift annuities provide a guaranteed income at rates substantially higher than savings or money market accounts.

A charitable remainder trust is ideal for those who have appreciated securities that are no longer producing income. These trusts grow with the rising stock market, but still provide a guaranteed minimum income.

All bequests and life income plans qualify alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends for membership in the Rebecca Ashley Thatcher Society.

All donors who notify us of their bequest intentions or set up gift annuities or charitable remainder trusts will be members of the Society, and Society Members will be featured in the Honor Roll of Donors.

Yes! I want to be part of Roycemore's future.

In order to honor our alumni and friends who commit future support to Roycemore, we have created the Rebecca Ashley Thatcher Society. Miss Ashley, as she was known by the girls at Roycemore, served the school from 1916 until her retirement in 1941. As the first head of the Upper School, and later Principal of Roycemore, she was instrumental in developing the principles and policies that continue to serve Roycemore students.
