Employment Opportunities at Roycemore

Upper School Spanish Teacher, Grades 9-12

Roycemore School is now accepting resumes from candidates for the position of Upper School Spanish teacher for the 2008-09 school year.

Qualifications include secondary school certification in Spanish language instruction; strong written and oral communication skills; high organizational ability; positive working relationships with colleagues; and an understanding of and appreciation for adolescence as a unique stage of human development.

Duties include four or five sections of Spanish language instruction, including Spanish I, Spanish II, Spanish III, Spanish IV, and in some years, AP Spanish. Class sizes typically range from 2 to 15 students per class. Other responsibilities include moderating the Spanish Club, serving as an Upper School Advisor and offering a January Short Term project to interested students each winter.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
