Capital Campaign Overview - Building Roycemore's Future

Roycemore’s mission of inspiring excellence and celebrating individuality will not only continue, but also flourish in our new home in Evanston at 1200 Davis Street. Larger space and updated technology and facilities will allow Roycemore to expand the opportunities we provide for each student. At the same time, we will continue to provide scholarships and financial aid to support our mission. Founded in 1915, Roycemore is the oldest pre-kindergarten through grade 12 college preparatory school on Chicago’s North Shore. In our new home we will build on our nearly 100-year history of service to the community.

The campaign goals include:

• Raising $10,000,000 by June 30, 2013
• Purchasing a permanent location in Evanston
• Renovating a three story, three wing building for the three divisions of Roycemore
• Building a new regulation-size gymnasium
• Building the Roycemore Endowment Fund
• Expanding programs and activities

• Large gymnasium – accommodating interscholastic athletics and allowing simultaneous day time activities

• Space for 350 students – providing greater long-term economic sustainability
• Close proximity to Northwestern – enabling qualified Upper Schoolers to take university classes
• Three block walk to Metra and CTA Purple Line – enhancing our commitment to geographic and cultural diversity
• Twice as many parking spaces – offering safety and convenience for all
• A highly visible location – raising the school’s profile in the community
