Admission to Roycemore
Roycemore School seeks to enroll students in pre-kindergarten through Grade 12 who possess the ability and desire to prepare for successful performance in college. Roycemore School is an independent, fully accredited, coeducational, college preparatory day school in Evanston, Illinois providing a liberal arts education to students from Junior Kindergarten (3 year olds) through Grade 12. Admission is open to all qualified students and is not based on race, religion, color or ethnic origin.
We appreciate your interest in Roycemore and look forward to working with you as you move through the application process. Roycemore operates on a rolling admissions policy, which means there is no application deadline where classes have availability.
While not required, we encourage interested families to attend an upcoming open house and become more familiar with the school. Arrangements may also be made for contact by a current Roycemore parent or to attend a school event as a guest.
Tuition for Roycemore School is comparable to other area independent schools and ranges depending on grade level, fees and transportation needs.

Application Checklist
In order to evaluate an applicant, Roycemore must have:
- A completed application form and deposit (download application)
- A written statement of expectations
- A report of performance from previous school (this must be an official transcript when available)
- Completed recommendation forms from current teachers/administrator
A record of standardized testing (Grade 2 or higher)
- A formal writing sample to be completed at Roycemore (Grade 5 or higher)
- A copy of any special educational or psychological evaluations completed within the last three years
- An opportunity to personally interview the applicant and parents or guardians
- For Junior Kindergarten or Kindergarten applicants, a copy of a birth certificate or passport
