History

Roycemore was founded as a girls' college preparatory school and became coeducational in 1962. The original north Evanston campus was located in a National Historic Landmark building designed by Lawrence Buck. The school relocated to a new campus at 1200 Davis Street, Evanston, in late 2011.

Student Body

Roycemore serves students from throughout the Chicago area in Pre-Kindergarten (age 3) through 12th grade. Approximately 45% of the students live in Chicago, 35% in Evanston and the remaining 20% in other North Shore suburbs; 52% boys, 48% girls.
